Optimization, Application and Infrastructure Enablement, Digitization and the Internet of Things (IoT) to be featured as company solves key challenges in fast-changing market

Stockholm, Sweden, September 28th 2017 - DigitalRoute, a leading innovator in Data Integration and Digital Transformation enablement technology, has announced its participation in European Utility Week 2017.  EUW is one of the energy world’s largest gatherings and takes place in Amsterdam from 3rd to 5th October.

At the event, DigitalRoute will be presenting technology that gives utilities a proven approach to new ways in which they can address both existing and future business challenges. These challenges include resource optimization, product innovation, digitization of both services and infrastructure, and leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT). All are becoming increasingly critical as keeping pace with radical industry change is now vital to long-term success.

The IoT and digitization are both founded on tapping the potential of connected devices that use data to communicate; therefore integration and management issues are critical to their success.

DigitalRoute technology empowers utilities to succeed in three key areas of their business:

  • Optimization: DigitalRoute’s smart data processing via a single horizontal data integration layer optimizes operations, increases efficiency and improves customer satisfaction.
  • Monetization: DigitalRoute’s technology helps utilities increase revenues and reduce costs by bringing innovative services to market quickly.
  • Predictive resource management and Machine Learning: Both are dependent on collecting and using the right data from the right sources and having access to it at the right time.
  • Digitization: The transformation to a digital business is a real-time journey with open architectures and APIs playing a vital role. These are integration and management challenges that DigitalRoute technology is inherently designed to address.

DigitalRoute’s team in Amsterdam will be led by Head of Business Development, Utilities, Jonas Wejdin and CTO-Utilties, David Bernhill. Both will be available for briefings and meetings on the company’s booth. They will be joined by some of DigitalRoute’s utility industry customers, who will be sharing details about the Use Cases they have tackled.

Commenting on Mobile World Congress 2017, Andreas Zartmann, Chief Executive Officer, DigitalRoute said: "EUW is the key gathering place for the utilities market. This is where we see innovation and learn where the industry is heading. DigitalRoute brings proven answers to a number of vital questions to Amsterdam, tackling issues that utilities have to address in order to succeed in the digital economy."

About DigitalRoute

DigitalRoute has been providing new approaches to data integration and management since 1999. Its technology offers high throughput and provides a unique degree of user configurability, processing all usage and statistical data extracted from the networks, including both billable and non-billable events. This means customers gain greater cost efficiencies, improved times-to-market for new service offerings, the ability to monetize any data, and the means to enhance end-customer satisfaction. DigitalRoute makes network events available to the right systems in the right formats in the most appropriate volumes at the required times, without losing a single bit. This is the foundation from which multiple, mission-critical use-cases can be addressed in the areas of Billing Mediation, OSS Mediation, Online Control and Enterprise Data Processing.

Over 350 leading companies worldwide use DigitalRoute technology to meet their data management needs, including a number of OEM partners who use our platform as a central part of their own offerings. DigitalRoute is built on the core values of Expertise, Open-Mindedness and Commitment. With close to 200 employees, the company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden with regional offices in Gothenburg, Atlanta and Kuala Lumpur. DigitalRoute is a venture-backed, privately-held company.
